JJC Event Scholarships

The JJC is committed to assisting individuals within agencies and community members who desire to attend JJC training opportunities but are unable to due to budget cuts and financial restraints. In order to ensure participants can attend our events,
we will provide a limited number of scholarships to attend JJC sponsored events at no cost.

Qualification criteria

• Your area of interest or work must relate to juvenile justice.
• Training course must be sponsored by JJC.
• Only registration fees are eligible for scholarships – no transportation, hotel, meals, etc. will be covered.

Selection procedure

• The scholarship request must be received by JJC prior to the training opportunity, before registering on the JJC website.
• Scholarship requests will be reviewed by JJC staff upon receipt; you will be notified asap. If you are not selected, you may re-apply for a future JJC training.
• If chosen, a code will be supplied to you to enable you to register for the event on the JJC website.
• JJC has the right to deny any request, to fund a partial request, or to ask for additional information in order to make an informed decision.
